Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is a strategic initiative by the government of Ras Al Khaimah to combine RAK Free Trade Zone (RAKFTZ) and Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA). RAKEZ is established to amalgamate both authorities in single umbrella along with their 13000 clients and make RAKEZ, the biggest free trade zone in UAE.

RAKFTZ and RAKIA had been contributed a vital role and played as driving forces to the economic development of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the past years. Looking forward to the next level both authorities decided to collaborate in this journey of economic development and gave emerged to RAKEZ in 2017.
